Director of Aircraft Maintenance

Job Description

The Director of Maintenance is responsible for aircraft maintenance, including supervising technicians and working directly on Company owned and operated G650/G550 aircraft to achieve the highest level of safety and dispatch.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for ensuring that all Las Vegas Jet planes are safe, maintained, and operational.
• Supervises, leads, and manages maintenance technicians and hangar superintendent.
• Works within Wynn Aviation to maintain a culture of safety with efficient procedures that support customer services.
• Supervises and performs aircraft maintenance on Company owned aircraft.
• Plans, schedules, and assigns maintenance tasks requested through work orders.
• Directs the work of outside maintenance contractors.
• Develops, tracks, and meets the capital and expense budget for a project, service, and/or flight operations.
• Supervises maintenance planning and the obtaining of quotes from outside vendors for upcoming maintenance events.
• Orders operating supplies and required/directed.
• Performs duties as Aircraft Mechanic.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Formal maintenance training on Wynn Aviation specific aircraft preferred.

Licenses:

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant license
• Inspection Authorization (preferred)
• Valid automobile driver’s license
• Valid passport
• Must be willing to obtain and keep any licenses required to meet the minimum functions of your position.

Experience:

• A minimum of (5) five years of experience with high performance turbine aircraft. Experience with aircraft currently owned by Wynn is preferred.

Skills:

• Knowledge of the FOM, Training Manuals, and the provisions of the CFRs and standards necessary to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the Director of Maintenance position.

Age:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
