Loss Prevention Regional Manager
Overview
The Loss Prevention Regional Manager is a senior leader within the Loss Prevention organization, responsible for
protecting company people, assets, and information across a designated region. This role provides strategic oversight
of loss prevention programs, drives regional performance, and ensures consistent execution of policies, procedures,
and compliance standards.
The Regional Manager leverages data-driven insights, investigative intelligence, and cross-functional collaboration to
identify risks, mitigate loss, and strengthen operational controls. Acting as a trusted partner to senior leadership, the
role translates complex loss data into actionable strategies that reduce shrink, prevent fraud, and improve overall
security effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Regional Oversight
- Lead and oversee regional loss prevention programs to protect company assets and reduce financial and
operational losses.
- Develop and execute regional loss prevention strategies aligned with company and global security objectives.
- Monitor regional performance against benchmarks, KPIs, and audit standards, ensuring accountability and
continuous improvement.
- Identify emerging risks, criminal trends, and vulnerabilities, enabling early intervention and proactive mitigation.
Data, Reporting & Intelligence
- Direct the preparation, analysis, and delivery of routine and ad-hoc loss prevention reporting for regional and
executive stakeholders.
- Translate regional loss data into clear trends, insights, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of loss data compiled from multiple systems and sources.
- Oversee variance monitoring, compliance tracking, and reporting of anomalies or non-compliance.
Investigations & Risk Management
- Provide leadership and subject-matter expertise to support complex investigations involving internal loss, fraud, or
policy violations.
- Ensure investigative processes meet legal, ethical, and company standards.
- Partner with internal teams to assess root causes of loss and implement corrective actions.
- Establish and maintain supply chain security policies appropriate to regional locations and product types.
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Build and maintain strong relationships with regional leadership, operations, HR, legal, and other key partners.
- Provide policy guidance and ensure effective implementation of loss prevention programs across all management
levels.
- Act as a regional liaison between Loss Prevention, Security, and Global Safety teams.
- Influence without authority to drive alignment and adoption of best practices.Education, Communication & Program Delivery
- Lead regional loss prevention education, awareness, and training initiatives.
- Present findings, trends, and recommendations clearly to diverse audiences, from frontline teams to senior
leadership.
- Adjust communication style and messaging based on audience and business need.
Tools, Systems & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure effective use of company systems and tools.
- Drive process improvements by integrating information from multiple data sources.
- Identify security weaknesses and recommend enhancements to programs, controls, or workflows.
Travel
Travel domestically and internationally as required to support regional operations and initiatives.
