Klaviyo is looking for a Finance Leader who will be the lead business partner for our Marketing team, supporting the department and initiatives with strategic business planning and budgeting. This person will report to the Director of FP&A and will partner with our Chief Marketing Officer and Marketing Teams.

This is a hands-on financial management position, playing a lead role in influencing strategy and performance management of the business. The Manager will play a key role in providing financial support, thought leadership and performance tracking, benchmarking and analysis for our team leading our Marketing strategy.

How You Will Make a Difference

• Identify financial trends and define critical decisions to ensure the effective strategic management and allocation of resources and investment dollars to highest ROI ideas
• Drive an efficient and accurate Planning process, from detailed annual budgets, to Quarterly Forecasts, and ongoing risk & opportunity analysis
• Partner with Marketing Ops & Analytics and Marketing Leadership Team to understand Marketing investment strategy and drive positive returns through financial modeling support.
• Enact a proactive, collaborative partnership between Finance and business teams, deeply embedding the Finance function into the business, assisting and driving financial management of their areas
• Partner cross functionally to implement Marketing budget management tool 
• Standardize monthly and quarterly close processes across Marketing, Accounting, and Procurement
• Develop analysts and continue to build a team that is highly effective, resilient and is set up to scale

Who You Are

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics. CFA or MBA a plus
• 5+ years of experience across Finance and Marketing with software companies with a SaaS business model
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high growth environment
• Excellent storyteller with deep strategic thinking, analytical and financial modeling skills
• Error free, attention to detail with passion for achieving a high degree of accuracy
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Planful, NetSuite, and ThoughtSpot experience preferred

The pay range for this role is listed below. Sales roles are also eligible for variable compensation and hourly non-exempt roles are eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable law. Base Pay Range For US Locations:$133,600—$200,400 USD
