About the role
Northwest Kidney Centers seeks a Senior Recruiter to support the People Team in a full time, hybrid position (Burien, WA). Purpose: The Senior Recruiter is a strategic partner to Northwest Kidney Center hiring leaders, NKC leadership, stakeholders, colleagues, and the community. As a talent advisor, the senior recruiter will always be recruiting and sourcing, partnering with hiring leaders for their current and future staffing needs to best support building candidate pipelines. The Senior Recruiter will be engaged in their art, talent community, and speak to market trends to best be able to support NKC. The senior recruiter will be able to build strategies to effectively fill a variety of positions from hard-to-fill to high-volume roles. This role will manage the full lifecycle of the recruitment process from requisition posting through acceptance of offers, but also keep those relationships with internals to support internal mobility. The senior recruiter will collaborate closely with the greater Human Resources team and internal stakeholders to ensure the effective hiring and onboarding of NKC employees. The senior recruiter will support Human Resources and organizational strategies and initiatives. Shift: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 1.0 FTE/Exempt Key Responsibilities:
- The Senior Recruiter will be a partner with hiring leaders and operate as talent advisor. This will include developing robust and diverse sourcing strategies to fill not just hard-to-fill, but high-volume openings, build and communicate out recruitment plans, identify new community, diverse and online resources.
- Will follow up with internal and external applicants for active openings as well as support future needs; demonstrate success to pipeline prospects for future openings.
- Review and interviews candidates using behavioral interview techniques; make recommendations to hiring leaders and influence when appropriate.
- Demonstrate creativity and/or innovative thinking and execution of ideas to support sourcing and recruitment efforts.
- Develops effective recruiting tools including interview guides, assessment forms, and other items to support the effective hiring decision process for hiring leaders in collaboration with Manager, Talent & Development.
- Stays up to date with best practices and follows the selection process. Provides regular updates to hiring leaders with the status of recruitment including a fluid sourcing plan to keep leader aware of activities, but also to ensure they have trust in the process and maintain credibility of Talent Acquisition/Human Resources.
- Prepares and extends employment offers consistent with NKC procedures and compensation philosophy.
- Develops reports and monitors recruitment-related metrics with an eye for trends. Metric accountabilities may include time to fill, quality of hire, weekly fills, hiring manager satisfaction survey, team goals, diverse slate of applicants, applicant/hire source, Human Resources organizational strategic goals, etc.
- Coach hiring leaders with modern, legal and effective recruitment techniques; responsible for onboarding and training new hiring leaders (hired or promoted) as well as participating in Talent Acquisition training throughout the year.
- Assists internal and external prospect and applicants regarding career openings with NKC and related Human Resources (People Team)/NKC Policies and procedures.
- Assists managers and employees in interpreting and applying various NKC People Team policies procedures, and current applicable state and federal laws.
- Makes recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues, by using judgment that is consistent with best practices, standards, policies, and procedures.
- Represent NKC with community outreach with community partners and others at community events such as career, hiring, and job fairs events.
- Will participate in projects and work to ensure processes are lean, modernized and maintain quality to best represent NKC.
- May support HR workflows such as conducting exit interviews.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as may be required.
- Equivalent of a baccalaureate degree and/or 5+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience
