We’re seeking a Salesforce Administrator who will support a large-scale application maintained by 4-10 scrum teams with minimal supervision. The candidate must have strong technological skills and understanding, the ability to work effectively with managers, technical staff, and clients (both technical and non-technical), and be proactive in problem resolution. Must be able to balance multiple complex requests in a fast-paced environment both independently and as part of a team. Strong written and oral communication skills to effectively present complex information to internal groups and clients with an ability to document options, procedures, and outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Build and manage custom objects, layouts, complicated workflows, complex reports, and personalized dashboards as required.
- Manage Salesforce objects and processes for the organization.
- Maintain overall system configuration, including workflow rules, validation rules, formula fields, escalation rules, etc., ensuring data integrity and security within the system. Document system specifications and configurations.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity.
- Hands-on experience in administration setup, e.g., managing users, security controls, and data and creating roles, profiles and permission sets.
- Conduct research on best practices and industry trends. Monitor Salesforce release changes and advise business partners on the impact on production.
- Create and execute test plans and scenarios. Troubleshoot issues noted during testing or reported by users.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve system functionality.
- Adhere to Salesforce best practices and document solution designs for data model changes.
- Validate development changes and ensure consistency with data dictionary and entity-relationship solution designs.
- Update and maintain a centralized data dictionary across teams for the program.
Requirements
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Salesforce Administration
- Knowledgeable with Salesforce data model designs and best practices
- Knowledgeable with Salesforce software development practices and methods, including picklists, workflows, triggers, and validation rules
- Strong data management abilities.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform, Salesforce Service Cloud and Salesforce Experience Cloud
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Extensive knowledge of Salesforce Administration
- Advanced problem-solving skills are needed to find solutions to problems that are technically complex and require collection, interpretation, and analysis of data from diverse sources.
- Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards.
- Detail-oriented, creative, and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes.
- Good communication with the ability to describe data model changes and solution designs
- Salesforce Administrator ADM201 and ADM211 certifications preferred.
- Previous experience working in a SCRUM or agile environment preferred.
