What we’re looking for:

 

We are looking for an IT Principal Architect Business Application who will be responsible for leading a group of our application developers and business analysts in both day-to-day operations support and in executing strategic applications projects aligned with our business goals.

 

 

What you’ll be responsible for in this role:

 

• Define and execute a sustainable, enterprise approach to ERP process design and integration architecture with strategic edge applications.
• Identify, design and support businesses in their implementation of standard enterprise processes throughout the ERP implementation lifecycle.  Develop resilient and adaptable processes that meet common business needs and support necessary change management to assist businesses with their implementation of standard enterprise processes.
• Collaborate with Operating Company, Digital, Business Intelligence, and Infrastructure teams to develop the Enterprise Architecture strategy and joint application roadmaps that align to Dover’s strategic vision for ERP and related applications.
• Support the development of a Dover ERP delivery methodology with a heavy focus on process transformation and change management.
• Provide guidance and solution recommendations to Project Managers, Business/Systems Analysts, and Supplier-Partners; Influence through formal and informal networks to achieve desired outcomes.
• Provide input to Project Managers to ensure effective project planning, scoping, resourcing, and execution.
• Lead cross-functional teams through complex issues and key decisions to deliver standard, effective solutions aligned with Dover’s technology strategy and business objectives.
• Liaison between Dover IT, supplier-partners, and Operating Company process owners to resolve conflicts and address operational issues while staying aligned to the Dover technology roadmap.
• Develop and implement effective communication and change management procedures to help our Operating Companies navigate transformational programs without negative performance impacts.
• Partner with Value Stream Leads and process owners to govern solution standards and minimize exceptions.
• Document, maintain, and evangelize Dover process and application standards to drive low-cost and highly supportable back-office processes.
