Data Center Technician - Denton - Overnight Shift (Graveyard/Evening Coverage)

About the role: The Data Center Technician must work well with others and will help ensure overall availability and reliability to meet or exceed defined service levels of data center operations. This position is for the overnight shift, and is a full-time, salary-exempt, 100% in-person role at our new Denton, TX Data Center that involves hardware and network diagnostics followed by physical repair. 

What You’ll Do:

• Maintain data center operations to ensure the availability and reliability of service levels
• Conduct hardware and network diagnostics and repairs
• Root cause analysis of hardware and software failures
• Train internal teams
• Develop documentation
• Provide technical support to data center teams
• Develop scripts to update server and networking hardware
• Maintain inventory
• Assemble and install equipment
• Perform maintenance of test and tool equipment
• Occasional travel to other data centers as needed
• Provide overnight support to our data center (12 AM - 8 AM CT)

Who You Are:

• Have 5+ years of data center operations experience
• Experienced with computer hardware troubleshooting and assembly
• Able to live up to 50 lbs and/or work in elevated locations
• Have excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
• Prior experience supporting an overnight shift
• Have computer networking experience

Preferred:

An Associate's Degree or equivalent experience in an IT-related field

• Python, Bash, or other scripting language experience

“The base pay and target total cash for this position range from $66,000 to $83,000 and $73,000 to $91,000, accordingly. Pay is based on a number of factors, including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position includes a discretionary bonus, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package.”
