HR Business Partner Specialist

Nemours is seeking an HR Business Partner Specialist, and this role can be filled in Florida or Delaware.
The HRBP Specialist provides effective support to assigned region(s)/function(s) in conjunction with HRBP team in an advisory capacity on administrative and tactical HR related issues and current HR trends. Participates in discussions around strategy development and execution for HR and Operational clients.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for the day-to-day delivery and implementation of HR and Enterprise Policies, Practices, and Procedures for assigned region(s)
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of HR products, policies, and functions
- In partnership with HRBP manages associate grievances and identifies appropriate response and/or solution
- Supports HRBP and/or leaders in implementation of corrective actions, performance improvement plans and coaching/expectation document records
- Displays basic understanding of leave administration, including but not limited to FMLA, ADA, Workplace accommodations and all other Nemours and/or Federal/State required leaves
- Responsible for Associate off boarding procedures, specifically execution of exit interviews and maintenance of exit data
- Assists as directed in internal investigations; maintaining documentation, conducting interviews and elevating findings to HRBP for recommendations Partners with HR COE’s (Centers of Excellence) to implement developmental trainings(i.e. New Leader HR Accelerated Training, New Hire Orientation, etc.)
- Acts as liaison for associate inquiries between the HR Solutions Call Center and the HRBP team
- Completes special projects and other job duties assigned by HRBPs
- Maintains confidential information in associate files
- Generates and complies reports as needed
- Successfully integrates HR Products/Services/Processes to meet the strategic and tactical needs of assigned region(s)
- Participates in the Associate Disaster Relief Committee as the chairperson, coordinating meetings and the submission of payment requests following committee decisions
- Listens, questions, and conveys an understanding of others’ ideas, behaviors, feelings, attitudes and values as it relates to HR
- As needed, guides staff toward the accomplishment of identified objectives and goals by developing, directing, empowering and influencing
- Ability to work independently, strong organization skills and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Demonstrates ability to establish and maintain effective relationships
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in HRM, Business Administration, Health Care Admin, or other related discipline
SHRM-CP or HRCI PHR Certification as Human Resource Professional Preferred
Minimum of 2 years experience; 1 year in Human Resources role
