We are currently seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join Air C2 and Sensors software department in Fullerton, California.
What you will do:
The Air C2 SW product teams use DevSecOps processes and best industry practices to provide mission critical applications and platform services to meet the threats of today and tomorrow.
- Support multiple program baselines and multiple platforms within our Sentinel software product line.
- Perform as a technical subject matter expert working as part of a high performing Integrated Product Team.
- Responsibilities include product conceptualization and design, software development, software integration and certification, and technical mentoring of junior engineers and oversight of their work assignments.
- Maintain Secret Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.
- Travel to sites across the United States and internationally to support system integration and test activities, as needed.
- Work onsite at Fullerton, CA [relocation eligible]
Qualifications you must have:
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience including software integration and certification, and troubleshooting.
- Experience in network programming with Cisco Router and Cisco Switch programming experience.
- Significant experience with unicast, multicast routing and implementing network topologies with routers and hosts.
- Experience in analysis, design, configuration and integration with networking equipment.
- Experience working in a team-focused development environment, such as Agile/SCRUM.
- Experience working with automated testing and continuous integration and deployment.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred).
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Linux Network Programming experience.
- Microsoft Application Programming experience.
- Advanced Network Engineering experience. Specifically advanced unicast, multicast routing experience. Able to define and implement different network topologies with multiple routers and hosts. Flow unicast and multicast traffic using IPERF and MGEN tools.
- Cisco Router and Cisco Switch programming experience. Familiarity with Cisco IOS and Cisco IOS-XE command line and syntaxJava Application with GUI experience.
- Python Application with GUI experience (pyexpect).
- TCL/TK Expect Programming experience.
- Vagrant/Virtual Box/Virtual Machine experience in Windows and Linux environment.
- Bash Programming experience
