This position is responsible for managing a regional team of Meter Specialists and overseeing field operations including, but not limited to: personnel management, inventory management, sales, and customer support.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of 5+ Meter Specialists/Outside Sales Representatives across a region (East or West)
• Oversee field operations including but not limited to inventory management and customer support
• Provide coaching and direction to a team of sales professionals across a region
• Lead customer presentations
• Travel as required to support field operations

Key COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS REQUIRED

• Strong communication skills
• Project management skills
• Understanding and familiarity of Metering and Waterworks products/services
• Leadership skills, or experience managing others

Minimum Qualifications                     

• High school diploma/GED required
• Minimum 1 year in similar position
• Minimum 3 years in Metering and Waterworks experience
• Ability to travel as required
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications                  

• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• 5+ years in Metering and Waterworks experience
• Supervisory experience

• Physical Capacities – Lift up to 25 pounds on occasion, sitting and standing for extended periods.
• Operation of Office Equipment — Job requires operation of equipment common to office settings, including computers, copiers, and other office equipment, including Near Vision, Manual Dexterity, and working in proximity to equipment.

• Written Communication Skills – Writing, Reading and Written Comprehension, and Written Expression.
