We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Torrent Technologies. This role will be based in either Kalispell, Montana or Overland Park Kansas. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Job Title: Information Technology Production Support Specialist

We will count on you to:

• Handle complex application issues with both internal and external clients, collaborating with other IT departments and suppliers as needed.
• Investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex application issues, providing best practice communications and guidance to users until tickets are resolved.
• Perform first-line issue research and reporting, including complex troubleshooting activities to resolve user-reported issues.
• Provide on-call support for business-critical applications during non-core hours and arrange communication on software issues and resolution updates.
• Actively participate in team activities, including daily huddles, team meetings, and training opportunities, while maintaining positive relationships with internal and external clients.

What you need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or a similar technical field, with 2 years of relevant job experience, or 5 years of experience in a technical field.
• Experience in P&C insurance.
• Proficiency in querying MS SQL databases.

• Basic to intermediate technical knowledge of systems and procedures.
• Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience in flood insurance.
