Basic Purpose

Responsible for monitoring and leading global trade compliance, control regulations, operations data and assessing impact on company products to assure compliance in applicable regions where we do business.

 

Primarily responsible to aid Global Supply Chain to ensure highly efficient and effective End to End processes for USMCA trade, USA and EMEA Drawback and FTA tax return process. The position’s responsibilities include but are not limited to coordination with appropriate internal and external stakeholders to ensure that Nexeo Plastics’ export and import objectives and applicable laws and policies are adhered to.

Position Responsibilities

  • Daily USMCA tasks:
    • TSCA certificate creation as needed
    • ISF filling report compliance audit (import shipments)
    • AES filling report compliance audit (export shipments)
    • K-84 Canadian taxes review and payments
    • COO requests and monitoring including HS Codes accuracy
    • FTA request and issue creation as needed
  • End User reviews, screens, and legal diligences (Sanctions review) and Annual letters to manufacturers
  • Answer inquiries regarding CTPAT and other similar certifications
  • Provide guidance with USA and EMEA Drawback processes
  • Government monthly statements to Finance
  • Monthly FTA audit
  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) reviews for Trade compliance purposes
  • Create and provide training in the areas of Compliance and updates of regulation
  • Knowledge and understanding of Free Trade Zones in the North and Sou
