Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition
Golin is looking for a dynamic Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition to join our team in Golin’s global HQ office in Chicago. This role will play an integral part in growing our teams by identifying top talent, supporting full cycle recruiting efforts, building relationships both internally and externally, marketing our employer brand, assisting with early careers programs, and aiding the larger Talent Acquisition team on various initiatives for the network.
A passion for diversity and creativity in recruitment, relationship building, and a collaborative, proactive, solutions-oriented approach is essential for success in this role.
This role will be based in our Chicago office with an expectation of hybrid work.
What You'll Do:
- Assist in managing full life-cycle recruitment for a diverse requisition load across all functional areas and seniority levels.
- Work closely with our Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers to clearly understand requirements of open roles and post, source, and screen for positions.
- Proactively identify and assess talent using a variety of creative sourcing methodologies.
- Serve as a candidate’s primary point of contact through the process to ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Ensure operational excellence by managing candidates and building robust candidate pipelines through our Greenhouse ATS, including routinely transferring data from LinkedIn or external platforms to the ATS.
- Build and maintain a sourcing pipeline and candidate pool via LinkedIn Recruiter, social media, research, etc.
- Actively influence and guide hiring teams on recruitment best practices, ensuring consistency and efficiency throughout the search and hiring process.
- Ensure compliance with EEO requirements and assist with the development and implementation of diversity initiatives.
- Operate at a forward-thinking level to anticipate future challenges and opportunities, proactively planning ahead to drive results.
- Champion Golin’s employer brand and support recruitment efforts at industry and university career fairs, building relationships with university students and staff while keeping diversity top of mind.
- Assist in the development of job descriptions, utilizing social media channels to attract top talent.
- Support broader Talent Acquisition team projects, events, and initiatives.
- Generate interest and actively pursue top talent for Golin by sharing the Golin story, developing an industry presence in the marketplace, proactively meeting talent, building long-term relationships.
- Ensure thorough feedback is provided through completed candidate assessments and candidate follow-up.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of talent hiring initiatives, leveraging metrics and data to inform decision-making.
- Co-lead Golin’s coveted post graduate internship program and present and host college tours.
What You’ll Have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of recruiting experience in a public relations agency, advertising agency or corporate communications setting preferred
- 2+ years of Internship program support and oversight experience
- Demonstrated success in full-cycle recruiting, including attending/hosting kick-off meetings, sourcing, scheduling, screening, qualifying talent, delivering offers, and onboarding
- Exhibit an optimistic and innovative mindset, thriving in a fast-paced and agile environment
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter + converting passive candidates to interested candidates
- Proven experience to track and maintain pipeline for hard to fill roles
- Experience networking/building relationships with colleges and organizations as part of a larger talent strategy
- Passion for creatively connecting and effectively communicating with candidates at all levels
- A pulse on industry activity and recruiting trends, supporting larger talent initiatives and projects
- Experience partnering with leadership on talent strategy, workforce planning, recruiting metrics, hiring processes, open role management
- Experience using applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse is preferred, Workday a strong plus)
- A track record of personal accountability, strong work ethic, initiative, and proven organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, with openness and flexibility to changing needs and priorities
- Proficiency in using AI technologies and advanced recruitment tools is preferred
