This role will see you work closely with CVS Rendering Framework team.</p><p></p><h2>Key responsibilities:</h2><ul><li>Collaborate with scrum colleagues on the development of Aveva’s proprietary 3D Rendering Engine.</li><li>Design and implement new features and improve user experiences on high-performance 3D Rendering Engine for all supported platforms.</li><li>Provide support to the execution and delivery teams.</li></ul><p></p><h2>Ideal experience:</h2><h2>·<span>Bachelor or MS (preferred) degree </span>in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or similar technical discipline.</h2><h2>·<span>5+ years of relevant industry experience in</span> 3D real-time programming</h2><ul><li>Excellent C++ programming, software design skills and unit testing</li><li>Excellent GPU and CPU debugging and optimization skills from bare-metal to high-level, with strong understanding of graphics pipelines and rendering techniques.</li><li>Deep experience with one or more graphics/compute APIs (DirectX, Vulkan, Metal, OpenGL, etc.)</li><li>Good knowledge of GPU shader programming (GLSL, HLSL, etc)</li><li>Good understanding of 3D Math, Linear Algebra, Trigonometry, Linear Transformations</li><li>Solid experience with Windows desktop development environment.</li><li>Knowledge of version systems (like Git) and agile software development methodologies</li><li>Solid English skills</li></ul><h2></h2><h2>Nice to Have</h2><ul><li>Experience with web browser porting toolchain for native 3D applications</li><li>Experience with C# programming language</li><li>Software development under linux OS.</li><li>Understand OS internals from kernel up to application layer</li><li>Experience with cross-platform XR game engines (Unreal, Unity, etc)</li></ul><p></p><h2>The team you’ll join</h2><p>You will join a very talented, brilliant and multicultural team spread across Europe and India.
