This position is for an entry level internship as Financial Analyst Co-op (Spring/Summer/Fall) to work with the risks and controls team on tasks related to audit prep, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, accounting and controls assessments, controls reporting and tracking, and other special projects related to the risk and controls functions. Our mission is to partner with the business to identify and mitigate risk by improving processes and strengthening the control environment.

Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session, that will run January-August (including the Spring semester; it is expected students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity).

What You Will Do:

• Support financial activities in one or more disciplines within Finance (e.g. financial planning and analysis, program finance, engineering finance, accounting, compliance, etc.).
• Prepare, track, and monitor financial data for finance related activities or transactions
• Prepare analyses for financial schedules and other ad hoc reports
• Research opportunities to improve current processes and support continuous improvement activities across the organization
• Complies with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations on all finance activities.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Finance and accounting experience preferred
• Communication, organizational, and project management skills
• Intermediate/Advance Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Desire for learning and process improvements
