Engineering Manager - Backend

We're looking for an Engineering Manager - Backend who can take complete ownership of our engineering team, deliveries, hustle and get things done while building and scaling our product at inFeedo. This person will lead a group of high-performing teams that fuel our growth. What will you be doing?

• You will lead the existing team to help improve the reliability, stability, and quality of the application.
• Coach, mentor, and influence via monthly performance reviews, measuring individual success and work with them on their career goals
• Grow and scale the organization, sustainably, and responsibly.
• Work in a democratic environment where decisions are driven by logic.
• Building a product with the platform-level approach which has core components and adapters on top of it.
• Keeping all engineering fundamentals in mind and solving through first principles.
• Pattern recognition and solving through automating the mundane problems. 
• Establish processes, checklists, and review processes to ensure high-quality deployments and build.
• Consume complexity within and provide the best experience to the users.
• You will contribute to inFeedo’s roadmap and help us build a one-of-a-kind employee engagement product.

Requirements

What skills do you need?

• Experience:
  • 7+ years of industry experience in a software engineering role, preferably building a SaaS product. You should be able to demonstrate the significant impact your work had on the product and/or the team.
  • Experience with leading technical design/architecture reviews and code reviews is a must.
• Cross-Functional Approach: Experience in collaborating directly with product and design teams. A proven track record of delivering value to customers or users is a must.
• Experience managing and scaling engineering teams through multiple phases of growth.
• Communication: Good communication skills since we focus on transparency and clear communication.
• Critical Skills: Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle the stress of multiple ongoing projects and ad-hoc ops.
