Research Laboratory Manager - Windreich Department of AI & Human Health
Mount Sinai Health SystemAbout the role
The Glicksberg Lab builds AI systems that learn from real-world patient data to advance personalized medicine. Our team develops and evaluates methods in representation learning, generative AI, and graph models across diverse multimodal and multi-omic sources—including electronic health records and clinical notes, labs and genomics, physiological waveforms, medical imaging, and video. Applications span risk prediction and early detection, automated phenotyping, treatment effect modeling, and drug or target discovery.
Our work is translational: we collaborate closely with clinicians, validate models rigorously (retrospective → prospective), and emphasize reliability, fairness, robustness, and reproducibility. Team members develop robust data pipelines, analyze large cohorts, and help turn state-of-the-art machine learning into tools that improve patient care.
