Provides services to patients who have impairments, developmental disabilities, functional limitations, disabilities, or changes in physical function and health status resulting from injury, disease or other causes under the direction of an Occupational Therapist. Overview
Vanderbilt Home Care Services is hiring a compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide home health occupational therapy services to patients throughout Rutherford County and the greater Nashville area. For more than 40 years, our team has helped patients regain independence and improve quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.

This full-time (32-hour) role offers weekday scheduling, strong interdisciplinary support, and the stability of working within Vanderbilt University Medical Center, a nationally respected academic medical center.

Position Details
• Full-time position, 32 hours per week
• Monday–Friday schedule
• Home health setting providing one-on-one patient care
• Service area includes Rutherford County, TN, and the greater Nashville area

Responsibilities
• Provide hands-on occupational therapy treatment in the home under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Support patients with self-care, mobility, and activities of daily living
• Implement care plans and document patient progress accurately and timely
• Communicate effectively with Occupational Therapists, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Promote patient safety, independence, and functional recovery in the home environment

Qualifications
• Active Tennessee Occupational Therapy Assistant license
• Home health, acute care, or rehabilitation experience preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
• Commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care
