Job Description

Your contribution to something big:

  • Overtake global responsibility for defining, keeping and further developing standards for processes;
  • Responsible for Best Practice sharing relevant to Quality, Cost and Delivery KPIs and to keep living network in terms of communication and steering (eg. workshop, factory visit, etc);
  • Responsible to define interfaces with other areas;
  • Define global technical specifications for standards together with Local Process Owners;
  • Further develop and optimize standards, including complexity reduction, best practice sharing and rationalization;
  • Specify the monitoring KPI for your field and how to collect the relevant data;
  • Develop an implementation plan together with the Local Process Owners as an input for the technology/factory roadmap, as well as long term planning including process development for innovative solutions;
  • Support, advice and train Local Process Owners and necessary module/product Glocal Process Owners;
  • Control the grade of implementation of standards in the factories;
  • Collect Quality issues, participate to problem solving and steer preventive measures through a central process FMEA;
  • Evaluate and propose change requests and Engineering Change Requests together with Local Process Owners;
  • Technical counter partner for planning and procurement of equipment;
  • Participation and exchange on Home Comfort level.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you: 

  • Qualifications: Mechanichal Engineer or similar.
  • Languages: Good knowledge of portuguese and english, written and spoken.
  • Technical Skills: Manual Assembly processes, Assembly, Joining, Pipe forming (copper/steel).
  • Elementary knowledge on MTM, Ergnomics, Mechanic Construction of Tools and robotization.
  • Advance experience in process planning (P-FMEA, Machine/tool Specifications, Machine/tool Capability) , investment and ressources planning,.
  • High degree of initative, good comunicaton and negotiation skills.
