Consulting, Senior Solution Specialist

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Solution Specialist in Dallas, Texas and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do
Drive the development of Cloud-based technologies, including data cleansing and conversions, interface design/development, and systems development life cycle. Participate in the delivery of comprehensive network transformation projects; help achieve the most out of existing infrastructure. Enable end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud, by driving the design and development. Drive various aspects of the full software development life cycle, which includes requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities; and estimate time and resources needed for the development work. Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document; support creation of interface specifications and call flows for the various components in the design.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:
• Supporting implementations of Cloud-based technologies, including data cleansing and conversions, interface design and development, and Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), utilizing Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD), Java Technologies, and Spring Batches;
• Performing aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues utilizing Java, Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE), Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring Securities, and Hibernate;
• Working across all phases of the Agile and Waterfall project delivery lifecycle for the design, development, and implementation of Cloud Platform, including GitHub, jUnit, Apache Ant, Maven, Amazon Web Services (AWS) DevOps, Jenkins, and Bamboo for enterprise-level clients;
• Converting legacy data according to current system’s data structure using data warehouse concepts, including AWS Migration Services;
• Creating technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, and pseudo code, utilizing HTML, Java Script, Type Script, Angular, and React JS;
• Developing Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) using Oracle 10g or 11g or 19c, PostgreSQL, SQL Query Analyzer, and PL/SQL including Packages, Stored Procedures, Triggers, Cursors, Complex Queries, and Query Tuning;
• Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyze client requirements, and translate requirements into project designs, utilizing Microsoft’s (MS) SharePoint, Visio, and PowerPoint for developing On-Premises and Cloud based applications to deliver solutions; and
• Deploying custom developed application, including process design, prototyping, code development and review, unit testing, performance testing, configuration, defect management, production deployment and training, utilizing Bamboo and Bit Bucket with CI/CD scripts.
