Regional Water Restoration Business Manager

 

Founded in 1935, Roto-Rooter is North America's largest provider of plumbing, drain cleaning, and water cleanup services. Roto-Rooter operates businesses in over 100 company-owned branches, independent contractor territories, and approximately 400 independent franchise operations, serving approximately 90% of the U.S. population and parts of Canada.

 

We are seeking an experienced Business Manager to join our fast-growing Regional Water Restoration team. This position will be based at our Corporate Home Office in downtown Cincinnati, OH. The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $110,000, depending on experience. This position is also eligible for a discretionary bonus and includes company-paid parking.

Responsibilities

The Regional Water Restoration Business Manager’s primary responsibility is to drive business growth within their assigned Region. This role involves reviewing and preparing claim files submitted by Branches, spreading operational best practices, and overseeing the collections process. Additionally, the Regional Water Manager works closely with Branch Management to uncover opportunities to grow our water restoration business.

 

Responsibilities Include:

• Monitor and improve average revenue per claim by coaching Branch teams on claim preparation and submission standards.
• Actively offers recommendations to improve business processes
• Direct and oversee the water restoration claims process within the assigned Regions.
• Apply knowledge of insurance policies and water restoration coverage to advise on complex or disputed claims.
• Supervise and provide feedback on the performance of billing and collections personnel.
• Train, mentor, and develop staff on claims handling, company policies, and industry best practices.
• Review branch-submitted claim files to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation.
• Responsible for regional water restoration account receivable results as measured against established benchmarks and KPIs.
• Build and maintains strong relationships with adjusters and insurance carriers to support successful claim outcomes.

Requirements

Requirements:

• This position requires limited travel for visits to branches within their assigned region.
• Highly motivated, detail-oriented, able to work independently.
• Prior supervisory experience required.
• Outstanding organizational, time management, and follow-up skills
• Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Able to handle multiple projects at once
• Strong communication skills and ability to work professionally with customers and the insurance industry
• Prior office experience.
• Knowledge of Xactimate software is not required but a plus.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of insurance or water restoration industry experience.
