About the role
Position Summary:
In the position of QA Lead Technician, you will be responsible for a team of Quality Assurance (QA) technicians, performing the testing the products developed by the company. Work closely with leadership to ensure products meet established quality standards.
Essential Job Functions:
- Coach and train quality technicians on procedures related to testing, communication, and lab best practices. Run in-depth testing, detects problems, recommends solutions, and determines if program requirements have been met.
- Communicate with QA management on a daily basis regarding issues, updates, etc.
- Communicate with team members regarding calculations and adjustments needed to batches
- Using established methods to verify quality of incoming raw materials and outgoing products; perform calculations to determine adjustments that may be required to ensure conformance
- Define and implement quality metrics to measure the effectiveness of the QA processes and identify areas for improvement
Position Requirements:
- Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of ‐‐ Quality Management or related field of study or experience
- Additional Experience Desired: Between 1‐3 years of experience in laboratory testing in a manufacturing environment
- Additional Experience Desired: Minimum 1 year of experience in a lead level position
- Computer Skills Desired: Proficiency with standard office software (such as MS Office Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Preferred Certifications: N/A
- Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Experience with writing and enforcing standard operating
- procedures (SOPs). Strong analytical and mathematics skills
Base Pay Range: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
