Job Summary 

Responsible for Transaction of Agency Bill, including Surplus Lines, Taxes and Fees, Installments, Split Receivable Pre-Bill and Wholesale Billing. Be able to answer or direct billing questions to the correct team member. Properly navigate EPIC, knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word. Adhere to the ability to consistently deliver work within the scheduled turnaround time

What You’ll Do: 

• Process all Agency Bill by adding and generating transactions in Epic.
• Follow instructions on transacting the premium, fees and taxes, Installments, Split Receivable
• Process Pre-Bill only for specific business requirements.
• Surplus Lines IOA is responsible for filing – process transaction from Surplus Lines forms.
• Process Transaction from Carrier Invoice or rating sheet or allocations spreadsheet
• Check Epic fields are correct, Policy Number, Commissions, ICO/PPE before transacting
• Follow-up and problem solve any request with appropriate departments, Managers as they occur, processing adjustments as needed.
• Ability to communicate with Account Departments for any corrections
• Multi-associate documents within Epic activity codes.

• Regular and consistent attendance is expected and a necessary component to the job
• Performs other duties as assigned.  

What We’re Looking For: 

      Bachelor’s degree in business administration with accounting or finance major and a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of public or private accounting experience with emphasis on full-cycle accounting processes preferred.  In lieu of degree, a minimum of eight (8) to ten (10) years equivalent experience is required. 

      Entry level – 2+ years billing experience or customer service experience. Excellent administrative, multi-tasking and organizational skills with the ability to pay strong attention to detail.

      Ability to analyze and problem solve complex issues.

      Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

      Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word

      High School diploma (or equivalent)
