What will you do?

We are looking for a Data Engineer you will be responsible for the design, development and maintenance of data infrastructure and systems. You will ensure data quality and integrity, and optimize data flow and storage.

Job mission and more detailed tasks:

• Design, develop, and maintain data systems and infrastructure
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and implement effective solutions
• Optimize data models for forecasting consumptions
• Implement data security and privacy measures to protect sensitive data
• Collaborate with other data teams to ensure data quality and correctness
• Help to build a robust and reliable data lake
• Modernize applications and systems to company technical standards
• Optimize data structure for internal processes

- During the 1 month as a Data Engineer, you will primarily focus on getting familiar with the organization's data ecosystem, infrastructure, and processes. You will make a coffee with all the team

- In 3 months you will start actively contributing to data engineering projects and taking on more responsibilities

- In 6 months you will have a solid foundation in the organization's data infrastructure and processes. You will continue to enhance your skills and take ownership of more complex domains

Requirements

What do we need?

We have thought very well what we are looking for and what really matters:

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python (preferred), Java, or Scala.
• In-depth knowledge of SQL and experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with big data processing frameworks like Hadoop, Spark, or Flink.
• Proficiency in data integration and ETL tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Informatica, Talend).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Terraform.
• Strong understanding of data modeling and database design principles.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and technologies.
• Knowledge of data governance, data security, and privacy best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
