- Monitoring Plant assets performance, providing KPI updates and critical assets strategic information for the management.
- Managing the Maintenance team in a 24 hour 7-day manufacturing environment, ensuring alignment of the employees’ work and behaviors with the organization guidelines and business objectives.
- Implementing KPIs for maintenance performance on cost and efficiency, in compliance with global and local BASF standards and directives.
- Coordinating the Asset Development Plan yearly exercise to align with long-term strategic goals for the Plant and the business.
- Being responsible for assessing and defining the Annual Plant Capacity and ensure it is aligned with GAP and SAP by working with SAP BEX Specialist, Accounting, and Controlling.
- Acting as manufacturing representative for execution of Non Com-S capital projects, coordinating the interface with Project Engineering.
- Ensuring Asset Reliability is evaluated and optimized by performing equipment end-of-life assessments, evaluating spare parts strategy, and analyzing repetitive failures.
- Establishing and executing tactical asset goals and objectives to ensure safe and reliable plant operation with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Developing Plant assets reliability improvement plans through identifying and correcting bad actors, coordinating root cause failure analyses, meeting mechanical integrity requirements, and identifying opportunities to reduce maintenance costs, in collaboration with Site Reliability Engineer.
- Supporting process troubleshooting, with focus on assets reliability and performance, in collaboration with Plant Operations, Process Engineering and Maintenance teams.
- Facilitating BASF-sponsored safety awareness and training initiatives, participating in activities to promote and improve process, equipment, and operational safety.
If you...
- Have a bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical engineering, or correlated Engineering areas, with a blend of professional experience that supports the success in the role.
- Possess preferably at least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with expertise in Capital Projects Execution, Maintenance or Operations.
- Are experienced with SAP.
- Are a good team player and communicate well across multiple levels of the organization.
- Have strong leadership skills.
