Its key missions include maintaining price stability within the Eurosystem, overseeing the Belgian financial system, ensuring secure and efficient payment systems, and providing high-quality economic and financial data and analysis.<br/><br/></p><h3>Missions<br/></h3><p>As a <strong>Senior Data/AI Engineer</strong> within the Data Center of Excellence team, you will:<br/></p><ul><li><p>Extend and maintain the organization's Data Platform (Databricks on Azure) in line with evolving business needs.</p></li><li><p>Lead the deployment and take technical ownership of Azure AI services including AI Foundry, AI Search, OpenAI service, and Document Intelligence.</p></li><li><p>Establish governance and ensure data security and compliance across Azure services.</p></li><li><p>Design and implement data ingestion pipelines to support AI initiatives.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with cross-functional teams on AI-related projects.</p></li><li><p>Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.</p></li><li><p>Advise on architectural decisions, AI model selection, and key technical choices.</p></li><li><p>Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of data and AI infrastructure processes.</p></li></ul> <h3>Requirements</h3> <p>To be successful in this role, you must have:<br/></p><ul><li><p><strong>Proven experience</strong> as a <strong>Data/AI Engineer</strong></p></li><li><p><strong>Expertise in Databricks</strong> with a minimum of <strong>3 years of hands-on experience</strong></p></li><li><p>Strong experience with <strong>Azure AI Services</strong>, including:</p><ul><li><p>AI Foundry</p></li><li><p>AI Search</p></li><li><p>OpenAI</p></li><li><p>Document Intelligence</p></li></ul></li><li><p><strong>Experience in Azure platform</strong> and <strong>infrastructure management</strong></p></li><li><p><strong>Advanced skills</strong> in:</p><ul><li><p>Data pipeline &amp; ETL processes</p></li><li><p>Performance tuning &amp; optimization</p></li><li><p>Python</p></li><li><p>SQL</p></li></ul></li><li><p><strong>Intermediate level</strong> with Spark</p></li><li><p><strong>Experience in Infrastructure as Code</strong> using <strong>Terraform</strong></p></li><li><p><strong>Full professional proficiency in English</strong></p></li><li><p>Dutch or French is a <strong>plus</strong></p></li><li><p>Availability to work in a <strong>hybrid mode</strong> (up to 50% remote)</p></li></ul><h3><br/>Offer</h3><p>• Contract flexibility: permanent employee contract or freelance mission<br/>• Flexible working hours with up to 3 days of telework per week<br/>• A team of enthusiastic, professional, and talented colleagues in a positive and supportive environment<br/>• Personalized career support to help you grow and evolve<br/>• A company culture focused on innovation, agility, and well-being at work</p><p></p>
