Job Description Summary

Reporting to the Senior Director, Gifts Administration, Data and Technology. Responsible for the annual creation of over 150 gift agreements and 200 new gift accounting Units (funds) within the Development and Alumni Relations database, Compass. Assist with reporting needs related to gifts via Qlik or parameter reports. Assist with handling desktop support issues as needed. Assist with general gift inquiries, research and projects. Assist with gift processing during high volume times.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a large and fast paced fundraising and alumni relations team to provide excellent customer service and technical expertise in numerous areas to support an annual fundraising goal over $300M. Assist the Senior Director by supporting the work of the Gift Accounting Team, Information Technology, and the Analytics and Reporting Team.  
  • Work under limited supervision to assist in the creation of new gift accounting units with both the Perelman School of Medicine and University Health Systems Finance Offices. Support will include the entity hospitals (Princeton Health, Lancaster General Hospital, Chester County Hospital and Doylestown Hospital). Approximately 200 new funds a year. 
  • Work with over 45 gift officers with the creation and routing of over 150 annual gift agreements. Act as liaison between gift officers, operations team, Health System Finance, entity finance teams and Central Gifts Management teams.   
  •  Become proficient in the use of the University Fundraising system (Salesforce) to help process, manage and research gifts, pledges and other transactions and serve as primary back up to the Senior Director in this regard. Assist with regular and special projects involving gift research, gift management and data administration.
