The Northrop Grumman Enterprise Resource Planning organization (ERP) is seeking a Staff level Security Solution Engineer to join our ERP SAP Security team.  This position will report to the ERP Security and Compliance Manager.  This individual is responsible for supporting the SAP Security design that supports business process design and organizational structure in the most effective and efficient manner while ensuring compliance with all security and architectural mandates. The individual will be responsible for both setting direction and for ensuring adherence to the SAP security architecture for business processes and standards. This individual will also work very closely with the Service Line Directors and all SAP teams. SAP Security technical expertise is an absolute must.

Areas of Responsibilities include:

• Serve as the security solution engineer, responsible for architecting the security design for the ERP SAP applications and ensuring compliance and adherence to the agreed upon design
• Serve as the SAP Security subject matter expert on projects assigned providing consultation to project teams to ensure security design meets business requirements, as well as best practices and controls requirements
• Work Help Desk tickets and assist other members of the ERP security team ensuring they follow all agreed upon practices and do not deviate from the agreed upon security design
• Participate in the on-call and monthly maintenance rotation
• Coordinate all security designs with SAP configuration POCs,  SAP compliance team, and Sector Level Organizations
• Work closely with customers in resolving complex SAP Security matters
• Work closely with both SAP technical and functional teams to ensure the success of the overall SAP solution
• Provide guidance on best course of action for SOD/Sensitive Access risk issues with respect to the design of the SAP security roles
• Participate in both Internal and External Audits if required to do so in response to Requests For Information (RFIs) from NG auditors

This role will require a team player with team-based problem solving experience. Additionally, candidates who will succeed must demonstrate excellent

interpersonal oral and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail is a must, ensuring customer requirements are met and that high-quality standards are achieved.

Basic Qualifications:

• 14 Years with BS in Science or related degree; 12 Years with Masters
• 4 + years’ experience leading SAP lifecycle implementations
• Strong level of SAP security principals and troubleshooting skills
• Strong technical knowledge of SAP security architecture and role based authorization models for SAP S/4, BI, SAP HR, Portals, XI/PI, SCM, Solution Manager modules
• Strong Fiori knowledge as it applies to S/4 security
• Hands on GRC experience with ControlPanel
• Proven success on multiple, enterprise-scale SAP implementation projects serving as a Senior SAP Security resource
• Strong, proven problem-solving skills and ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex problems, driving solutions through to completion
• Proficient in analyzing requirements
• Ability to translate complex technical information across all levels of the organization

• Strong attention to detail which ensures that customer requirements are met and that a high-quality standard is achieved

Salary Range: $155,400.00 - $233,200.00
