About the role

WME is seeking a Director of Infrastructure and Enterprise Architecture to support the agency’s global IT infrastructure strategy and enterprise architecture initiatives. This role will work across the agency’s businesses with a focus on server and cloud systems, application development environments, network and voice infrastructure, and identity access management technologies.

You should be a strategic, detail-oriented technology leader with a strong background in IT infrastructure and enterprise architecture. You must have a passion for driving optimization strategies, modernizing systems, and enabling secure, scalable solutions for a global organization.

You must be willing to do the work, possess exceptional relationship-building skills, and thrive in a highly iterative, agile, and fast-paced environment. Flexibility and the ability to pivot quickly between priorities are essential.

The role will report to WME’s VP, Head of IT Infrastructure & Cybersecurity based in Beverly Hills, CA.

Responsibilities

Global IT Infrastructure Leadership

  • Develop and execute a global infrastructure roadmap aligned with business objectives.

  • Oversee cloud services, hybrid infrastructure, and on-premises systems.

  • Ensure high availability and implement robust disaster recovery strategies using industry-standard tools and best practices.

  • Implement optimization strategies for infrastructure performance, cost management, and resource utilization.

  • Establish global standards for infrastructure monitoring, capacity planning, and lifecycle management.

Enterprise Architecture Strategy

  • Define and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks that support scalability and interoperability.

  • Drive adoption of modern architecture principles such as microservices and API-driven design.

  • Align architecture decisions with long-term business and technology goals.

  • Optimize architecture for scalability and cost efficiency, ensuring minimal technical debt.

Application Development Environment

  • Oversee the design and governance of development platforms and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Ensure environments support agile methodologies and secure coding practices.

  • Implement containerization and orchestration solutions for efficient deployment.

  • Optimize development workflows to reduce deployment times and improve resource utilization.

Network & Voice Infrastructure

  • Manage global network architecture, including WAN, LAN, SD-WAN, and VPN solutions.

  • Oversee voice systems and unified communications for seamless collaboration.

  • Implement optimization strategies for bandwidth usage, latency reduction, and cost-effective telecom solutions.

Identity & Access Management (IAM)

  • Lead IAM strategy to ensure secure and efficient user access across systems.

  • Implement multi-factor authentication, single sign-on, and privileged access management.

  • Optimize IAM processes for faster onboarding/offboarding and improved user experience.

Governance & Compliance

  • Establish policies and procedures for infrastructure governance.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, NIST, SOC) and regulatory requirements.

  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage strategic relationships with technology vendors and service providers.

  • Negotiate contracts to optimize cost and service quality.

  • Communicate infrastructure strategy and performance to executive leadership using clear reporting and dashboards.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Champion modernization initiatives, including cloud migration, automation, and orchestration.

  • Explore emerging technologies (AI, edge computing) for infrastructure optimization.

  • Implement optimization strategies across all infrastructure domains to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

  • 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure leadership roles, with global scope.

  • Proven expertise in cloud platforms, enterprise architecture, network systems, voice technologies, and IAM solutions.

  • Strong understanding of application development environments and DevOps practices.

  • Certifications such as TOGAF, ITIL, or relevant cloud and security certific
