Cage Cashier Credit Clerk (Tropicana Laughlin)

 

Must be at least 21 years of age.

 

SUMMARY: The Cage Cashier performs the cashiering functions for an assigned Cage window or the chip bank during their shift.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

• Accurately redeems patrons gaming chips.
• Accurately redeems patrons slot tokens/tickets.
• Ensures compliance with company standards and gaming regulations.
• Exchanges cash for chips and cash checks for patrons with established credit.
• Responsible for window bankroll or chip bankroll and reconciles bankroll at conclusion of shift.
• Assists in maintaining records necessary for the operations of the cage.
• Facilitates resolution of guest complaints in coordination with a supervisor when necessary.
• Pay/reimburse jackpots and hopper fills for Slot Attendants.
• Must be available for scheduled work.
• Must exhibit the Family Style Service model at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent required. Six months or more years related experience in a casino, and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must possess and be able to maintain the applicable regional Gaming card(s) and/or License(s), if any.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must be able to effectively communicate in English. Must be able to read and write simple lists, interoffice memorandums, and business correspondence.

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

 

COMPUTER SKILLS

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
