Program Cost Controls Senior Analyst

V2X is growing! V2X is looking for a Program Cost Controls Senior Analyst to join our team! 

The V2X Modernization and Sustainment (M&S) Finance Team in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a highly motivated Program Cost Control Analyst to join the V2X Technical & Training Solutions Business Area. The ideal candidate will be the primary financial support within a program and will ensure that all financial tasks are nurtured to completion.  The ideal candidate will also possess professional and effective communication skills both within and outside the organization including the ability to multi-task across various activities. 

Responsibilities include program budget preparation including estimate at complete information on Department of Defense contracts, development of work breakdown structures, tracking and monitoring project costs, sales, and earnings and providing variance analysis.  Additional responsibilities include month/year-end monitoring and close reporting, working capital monitoring and analysis, program financial forecasting and contract closeouts. The ability to develop productive partnerships with other functions, analysts, and the Product Line leaders are essential for success in this position.  

Required Skills:

• 2+ years of relevant financial experience.
• Working knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Ability to work and succeed in a deadline driven environment.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
• Excellent personal computer skills including a high level of proficiency with MS office products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Comprehensive critical thinking and analysis skills.
• Self-starter, ability to work effectively in a results-oriented team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desired Skills:

• Working knowledge of Federal / Department of Defense contracts and practices.
• Knowledge of SAP.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS, Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).
• Experience with SAP, Business Warehouse (BW), and forecasting tools.
• Experience in Financial Planning and Analysis.
• Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM).
• High attention to detail and accuracy.

Education Requirements:

• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or Business-related field.
