Regional Director, Food & Hospitality – Subject Matter Expert
(Western half of USA)
Primary Responsibilities:
The Regional Director, Food and Hospitality requires a professional who can drive and support revenue growth by collaborating with supplier partners and multiple teams within OMNIA Partners. This role will serve as the Subject Matter Expert for their region and likely assist in multiple opportunities with existing members and prospects.
Responsibilities & Requirements will include but not be limited to:
• Must live in region within one hour from major airport.
• Travel within region expected at 65-75%. Responsible for maintaining individual schedule and arranging travel plans for that schedule – Air, Car, and/or Hotel travel.
• Work closely with awarded distribution personnel to strategize, target and grow prospective food opportunities.
• Function as a connector across sales, marketing and operations to ensure a solid strategy is in place to grow relationships and revenue for our distribution and supplier partners.
• Work with OMNIA Partners Public and Private sellers on food opportunities as a Subject Matter Expert to close business and assist in selling strategies
• Engage with strategic accounts in region to build relationships and enhance experience with OMNIA Partners.
• Schedule and attend in-person and virtual appointments with members and prospects in key customer segments including education, state/local government, hospitality, B&I and other foodservice channels.
• Attend conferences and trade events to connect with members and prospects in key segments.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
• Foodservice Experience of 5-10 years is essential – Roles in distribution, operations, supplier sales, consulting or group purchasing would be viewed as relevant for this position.
• The ability to influence peers and executive leadership through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Energetic and enthusiastic; comfortable working in a fast‐paced, dynamic environment.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work in a remote environment.
• Experience with a CRM system (Salesforce).
• BA/BS degree is preferred.
• Ability to manage time effectively.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Be open to change.
• Ability to travel 65-75%.
