Main Objective:  Creatively and actively participate in the department of medical education to carry out logistical operation for organization and maintenance activities for the surgeon consultants and Fellowship programs.       

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Administrator of Arthrex Grant Committee
  • Manage Physician Observation Program
  • Maintain Clinical Staff Contact Information
  • Healthcare Provider Spend Reporting
  • Maintain Medical Education events in Consultant Time Keeping System.
  • Coordination of Consultant Visits to Corporate Office
  • Coordination of Single Day Surgeon Cadaver Labs in Naples, including liaison with Distributor Medical Education Mangers and Product Managers, development of agendas, surgeon follow-up letters, and scheduling of facility tours.
  • Process Instructor Requests for Distributor and 3rd Party Courses and International events.
  • Assist Medical Education Logistic Manager with Fellow, Faculty and Corporate Events
  • Provide clerical support to Medical Education Department
  • Coordinate and develop corporate medical education brochures with Marketing.
  • Support Director of Medial Education in various research projects and studies.
  • Coordinate production of educational materials, textbooks, electronic books, etc.
  • Collect and analyze medical education data from all regions.

 

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred
  • 2 years of medical education/administrative office experience required.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written and customer service skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, proofreading and organizational skills.
  • Ability to perform detailed work accurately.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A thorough knowledge of arthroscopic and sports medicine related orthopedic procedures preferred.
  • Highly discrete individual who can handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Minimal travel required.

 

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

Command of Microsoft PC based programs (MS Office: Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook), fax machine, laser printer, scanner, copier, telephone.
