About Position:

The Prep Cook is responsible for preparing cooking ingredients by chopping vegetables; portioning various menu items; cutting, curing, and braising meat, etc. This position is responsible for undertaking cooking duties such as making soups and dressings, preparing all main and side items on the menu etc. The Prep cook prepares simple dishes such as salads, entrees etc. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly kitchen by cleaning equipment, washing dishes if extra help is needed, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash.
