Job Summary
Reporting to the Director, Access & Reimbursement, the Regional Access Manager (RAM) will work with internal and external stakeholders to support access to Harrow’s branded pharmacy benefit products. The RAM does this through supporting the sales teams efforts and managing payer/coverage pull-through initiatives.
Core Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing all Market Access activities within assigned payer accounts, including product support, highlighting support tools and resources to internal stakeholders and key HCP targets.
- Analyzes access of all assigned payers and will summarize at a high level
- Understands all payer criteria of each assigned account for each company brand.
- Assist field sales personnel in addressing messaging, access, and coverage barriers, and understanding the payer landscape.
- Working knowledge of pharmacy benefit design, as well as a clear understanding of Medicare Part D, Commercial, and FFS and Managed Medicaid insurance plans.
- Pull-through support, promoting formulary wins for launch brands and opportunities identified by IQVIA, MMIT and/or other data vendors.
- Supporting peer-to-peer programs virtually or in-person by prioritizing high volume opportunities.
- Identification and collaboration with pharmacy channels by supporting trade efforts of specialty pharmacy partners.
- Training support – present Market Access overview and key product specific programs to newly hired sales personnel.
- Gather internal data from multiple sources to conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with sales leadership to monitor pull-through performance and highlight opportunities.
- KOL advocacy - focusing on regional KOL’s to support formulary access of launch brands.
- Coordinate clinical and financial discussions with regional payers to support formulary positioning of Harrow’s branded portfolio.
- Conducts all work activities in compliance with all internal requirements and meets all applicable business, compliance, legal, and regulatory requirements.
