Hope Medical Clinic P.A is a Primary Care clinic in Fayetteville, NC. We are looking for a highly skilled Medical Assistant who would be a great asset to our team. The Medical Assistant must be willing and able to work in a fast-paced work environment.
The Medical Assistant should have an excellent interpersonal and communication skills, because often MA form the link between the physician and the patient.

Clinical Duties:
- Measuring Vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, breathing rate and temperature), Height and Weight.
- Obtains a medical history by asking patients questions about their medical conditions, medications and allergies and recording any findings into the patient charts and alerts the physician of the results
- Performing electrocardiogram
- Assist physician with exams and procedures
- Administering injections
- Manage Specialist referrals, prior authorization
- Call or fax prescriptions to pharmacies
- Change dressings and restocking exam room’s supplies
- Clean and maintain instruments and medical equipment
- Communicating physician instructions to patients
Administrative Duties:
- Scheduling and setting up appointments
- Keeping electronic medical records
- Practicing medical coding
- Keeping track of the patient flow
- Answering and Making Calls
Additional Skill Needed:
- Multitasking qualities
- Ability to prioritize
- Qualities to collaborate and cooperate
- Adept literacy in computers and technology
Education:
- Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant
- CPR Certified
Work Experience:
- Minimum 1 years work experience as Medical Assistant
- Certified Medical Assistant or
- Registered Medical Assistant
