The Operations Dispatcher / Scheduler plays a key administrative role within the Operations Department at Barbier Security Group. This position is responsible for dispatching security personnel, managing schedules, and ensuring that all posts are staffed in accordance with client needs and company standards. The role is primarily desk-based but includes occasional field duties such as site visits and emergency response using a company vehicle.

- Hourly Rate: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour(DOE).

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and dispatch field security officers to client sites based on operational needs.
- Build, maintain, and adjust daily and weekly officer schedules.
- Proactively monitor coverage and fill open positions due to call-offs, absences, or last-minute client requests.
- Serve as a key communication point between field officers, clients, and company leadership.
- Provide logistical support to ensure smooth operations and rapid problem resolution.
- Assist with field operations as needed, including conducting site visits and covering shifts during emergencies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of scheduling, coverage changes, and officer availability.
- Ensure compliance with licensing, training, and policy requirements in coordination with HR and compliance teams.
- Perform additional administrative support functions for the Operations Department as directed.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in a security, emergency response, or service-based industry.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with guard scheduling software or workforce management tools.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience in dispatching, scheduling, or logistics (security industry preferred).
- Strong administrative and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Calm and effective under pressure, with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Technologically proficient; comfortable using scheduling platforms, spreadsheets, and communication tools.
- A valid Driver's License and a clean driving record for 3 years is required.
- Flexibility to assist in field operations or work after hours when needed.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.

- Reliable transportation is necessary.
- Proficient in basic computer and smartphone usage.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write in English to create accurate reports; additional language skills are a plus.
- Strong listening skills, patience, and compassion, particularly when interacting with community members experiencing emotional or psychological challenges.
- Ability to remain calm in crisis situations, think critically, de-escalate conflicts, and communicate effectively.
