Essential Job Functions
• Responsible for performing and approving Production Line Start - Up checks
• Responsible for approving Production Line Clearance activities.
• Conducts QC tests during production runs as required using statistical
sampling procedures and documents results properly.
• Maintains accurate records of inspections for finished goods, packaging
materials, work-in process.
• Inspects production lines according to established quality procedures and
documents result properly.
• Prepares and completes documentation on the production lines for
conformance to customer standards and GMP compliance.
• Collects customer samples according to established quality procedures.
• Notifies the Quality Assurance Supervisor and Production Supervisor of any variations from quality standards. Resolves quality issues with production and the customer when necessary. Documents actions properly.
• Communicate production line QA variations or issues with next shift QA
Inspector and / or QA Supervisor
• Collects the required retain samples of all production as stated per quality procedures and submits the samples as needed.
• Responsible and accountable for all GMPs.
• Responsible and accountable for all trained SOPs
• Ensures all packaging standards are appropriate as necessary.
• Maintains accurate records of all transactions
• In the absence of the Production Team Leader / Line Leader, the Quality
Inspector may he responsible to perform the required tasks and duties as
designated by Production Management

Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 to 3 years related experience in a manufacturing environment
• Must work different shifts and overtime as required
• Excellent visual acuity (corrected if necessary).
• Visual perception.
• No color blindness.
• Excellent math skills
• Must be able to work with people.
• Self-starter.
• Understands the facility policies for weights, torques, and crimps.
• Must be able to learn the use of scales, micrometers, gauges, data collection
systems, meters, read blueprints, material/customer specifications,
manufacturing instructions, bill of materials and follow other written or verbal
instructions.
