Senior Payment Services Coordinator

Hearst Service Center is looking for a Senior Payment Services Coordinator to help the team. This role will be responsible for leading the payment processing of both domestic and international payments for the Hearst Corporation. The candidate will also become an administrator for our virtual card program and several Hearst bank accounts. This candidate will research requests from our customers on various payment-related issues and provide solutions. Providing great teamwork and a strong work ethic is essential. As our company continues to grow, we strive to find ways to automate processes, learn, and adapt to provide the best service to our customers’ needs.
Responsibilities
- Approve Wire and Tax ACH payments.
- Manage the Invoice Error log within Oracle.
- Assist with managing the department-shared mailboxes.
- Review daily Positive Pay exceptions with various bank accounts.
- Research and provide payment confirmations upon requests.
- Process recalls requests, amendments, voids and reissues on payments.
- Various monthly reporting
- Learn all Oracle payment processes and be the lead knowledgeable source for supporting the team.
- Work with the team to develop new solutions around process improvements and automation.
Qualifications:
- Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Teams, and Word.
- Ability to communicate and speak effectively through email, zoom calls, telephone, and in person with customers.
- Effective organizational and attention to detail skills.
- Analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize workflow and meet deadlines.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud is preferred.
- Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two or more years related experience and/or training.
