EVS Operations Supervisor

SUMMARY:
We are currently seeking a EVS Operations Supervisor to join our Unit/team. This full-time/part-time role will primarily work on-site/remote/hybrid (SHIFT).  

Purpose of this position: Provides direct leadership and guidance to staff to ensure that high level of cleanliness, quality and service is achieved and maintained.  Assist with CMS and other regulatory compliance initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Customer Relations

• Monitor service binders in assigned areas on a daily basis taking appropriate action to alleviate concerns/comments
• Respond to concerns and requests with a sense of urgency and take necessary corrective action when needed
• Educates patients on services provided by Environmental Services; probes for concerns, needs, and impressions of service. Identify through interviews, discussions or observations opportunities to improve patient services experience

Operation Excellence

• Proactive approach to identifying and correcting facility quality assurance concerns; timely follow-up required.  . Work collaboratively with nursing, EVS staff and fellow management to enhance all patients’ experience—resolving patient/family concerns, addressing special requests, identifying creative approaches to pilot or implement with senior management approval
• Plan and coordinate project work to ensure that proper frequencies are maintained
• Ensures duty lists are revised and current at all times
• Monitor daily equipment use, cleaning and maintenance
• Participate in facility quality assurance program as required.  Ensure high quality percentage of
