DAP (Designated Agency Principal )

Brightway Insurance is hiring a Full-Time Designated Agency Principal in High Point, NC

We are looking for an ambitious, growth-minded individual to join our independent Brightway Insurance agency as a Designated Agency Principal . This role is designed for someone who wants to learn all aspects of the insurance business—sales, operations, carrier contracting, client relationships, and business management—with the potential to eventually open their own agency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive sales and revenue growth by generating leads (referrals, networking, digital channels), following up consistently, and building strong client relationships.
• Sell personal lines of insurance
• Consult with prospective and existing clients to assess risk, recommend appropriate coverage, and manage renewals to ensure retention.
• Manage and streamline office operations, including scheduling, front-desk workflow, and maintaining accurate data and documentation in agency systems (AMS/CRM).
• Oversee policy processing: endorsements, renewals, cancellations, billing, and follow-ups on delinquent accounts.
• Maintain carrier and market knowledge: stay updated on underwriting guidelines, product lines, and new carrier opportunities.
• Support agency growth and branding initiatives: contribute to marketing, community engagement, and strategic planning under leadership mentorship.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Possess an active North Carolina Property and Casualty insurance license or be willing to obtain one
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, good at multitasking and managing workflows
• Comfortable learning and using technology/tools relevant to insurance quoting, CRM, sales tracking
• Entrepreneurial drive: motivated to grow the business and take ownership mindset
• High standard of integrity and a focus on client satisfaction
• Self-starter, resilient, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
