Pay: $16.00–$20.00 per hour
Job type: Part-time / Full-time
Schedule: Days/evenings/overnights; 4–12 hr shifts; weekend options
Location: Clients within ~30 minutes of Clay County


Overview
Serve clients living with Parkinson’s disease by supporting safe mobility, consistent routines, and confidence at home—non-medical, 1:1 care with strong office support.


Responsibilities (non-medical)

• Transfer and mobility assistance per plan (gait belt, cueing, pacing; freezing-episode awareness)
• ADLs: bathing, dressing, toileting/incontinence care as needed
• Meal prep with texture/consistency awareness as directed by family plan; hydration prompts
  Medication reminders (no administration); routine scheduling and appointment transportation
• Light housekeeping, laundry, safe-home setup, fall-prevention practices
• Engagement: walks (as appropriate), conversation, handwriting or voice-projection practice per family plan
• App-based notes; observe & report changes (fatigue, fall risk, swallowing concerns)

Requirements

• Driver’s license & insurance; reliable vehicle
• CNA or HHA required; Current CPR and State required courses
• Confident with safe transfers and fall-prevention; smartphone for app
