Warehouse Technician

 

Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a Warehouse Technician for our Somerville team. 

 

This highly motivated, organized and  hard worker individual will be responsible for loading and unloading inbound/outbound trucks .

This position reports to Warehouse Manager. This role is onsite and is based in Somerville, MA. The pay range for this position is $20-25 hr. 

 

Essential responsibilities:

• Load and unload trucks using warehouse equipment, pallet jack, hand truck drum truck, and on occasions they will use the forklift.
• Assist the drivers in loading staged supplies and double-check the supplies as they are being loaded.
• Shipping and Receiving
• Cover for driver call-outs and vacations.
• Deliver critical supplies to clients when needed.
• Snow removal from trucks and property
• Work closely with Logistics, compliance, and mechanics to make sure all trucks have the permits and are ready to roll.
• Any other tasks that are required to maintain the operations of the warehouse and logistics.

 

Basic Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience loading trucks
• Must be able to work a regular schedule of 0500 – 1400 plus OT. And must be willing to work the 2nd shift 1400 - 2200 to cover call-outs and vacations
• Must have excellent attention to detail
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• A good knowledge of computers… Excel, Windows, outlook, etc.
• Must have excellent organizational skills

Preferred Requirements

• Willingness to get the Class A CDL 
• Willingness to get their hoisting license 
• Knowledge to drive manual transmission
