Join the team at Ingram Micro, where we give new life to technology through responsible reuse, refurbishment, and recycling. As a Configuration Associate II, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that systems and equipment are thoroughly tested, securely wiped, and correctly configured before re-entering the market or being responsibly recycled.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys problem-solving, values attention to detail, and is committed to protecting data integrity. Our ideal candidate is tech-savvy, quality-focused, and comfortable in a fast-paced, non-automated warehouse environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Troubleshoot & Repair: Disassemble equipment to identify and correct malfunctions in a wide range of systems, including telephony equipment, Point of Sale (POS) systems, and storage devices.

  • Data Security: Ensure all data is permanently and securely removed from devices using approved tools, software, and techniques.

  • Inventory Management: Use reporting tools to track inventory levels, monitor asset age, and support accurate, real-time record-keeping.

  • Collaborate & Communicate: Serve as a communication bridge between clients, stakeholders, and internal teams. Address questions and concerns promptly and professionally.

  • Kit Assembly & Labeling: Assist with packaging, labeling, and test kit assembly as needed to support operational throughput.

  • Compliance & Quality: Follow established processes to ensure consistent quality and compliance with ITAD standards and procedures.

What You Bring to the Role:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.

  • 2+ years of relevant technical or configuration experience, ideally in ITAD or electronics refurbishment.

  • Solid understanding of electronics assembly and disassembly, troubleshooting, and data security practices.

  • Familiarity with tools and systems used for tracking inventory and asset history.

  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with team members.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence.

Work Environment:

  • This position is based in a warehouse setting.

  • Role may require standing, lifting, or repetitive tasks for extended periods.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $35,000.00 - $52,600.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
