The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS), Space, Intelligence & Weapons Systems (SI&WS) is seeking a Senior System Test Engineer with a strong background in Operations & Engineering to join our Mission Systems Operations team in Aurora, CO. The Northern Lights Ground Engineering team is responsible for all aspects of maintaining 24x7 operational systems. Our group works all facets of spacecraft operations from ground system obsolescence, upgrades and maintenance supporting spacecraft control, spacecraft system engineering, mission planning, and vehicle engineering.
The Senior System Test Engineer will be a part of a high-performing team that are immersed in highly complex operational systems. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with software developers, external engineering groups, and our customer to resolve anomalies, integrate new or upgraded systems, and strive for 100% mission success. We’re seeking a highly talented, motivated, and creative system test engineer to validate new solutions and support existing capabilities for the national intelligence community. The successful candidate will design test plans, execute, and maintain a system supporting spacecraft operations.
Position Responsibilities:
Analyze high level customer requirements and deriving lower level functional requirements
System test engineer development tasks including detailed test planning, and unit/integration/functional/system testing of customer desired features/user requirements
Briefing test plans and demonstrating system release functionality to customer/stakeholders/end users
Test new and existing applications; as well as troubleshoot and resolve various system issues working with the design team
Support ongoing lifecycle maintenance of operational baseline and the quality efforts of our Boeing product deliveries to our customers
Willingness to provide 24x7 on-call support on a rotating basis
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
9 or more years' related work experience
Experience communicating with customer representatives, in both written and spoken form, regarding technical subjects
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Testing in an Operations & Maintenance environment experience.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $128,350 - $173,650
