You will be the pivotal link between our clients, internal teams at Vanderlande, and external subcontractors. Operating in a multicultural environment, your ability to work autonomously and build strong relationships will be critical to ensuring project success.</p><p></p><p>Your responsibilities include developing and executing robust project plans that deliver on all key parameters—customer satisfaction, expectation management, budget control, time, quality, and safety. You will also bear full commercial accountability for project outcomes, including successful acceptance by both clients and Vanderlande’s internal service organization. On larger projects you can also have the responsibility to guide junior and medior project managers that work with you.</p><p></p><p><b>Your responsibilities</b></p><ul><li><p>Strategic Relationship Management: Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives, both internally and externally, fostering long-term partnerships and identifying opportunities for future collaboration.</p></li><li><p>Project Leadership Excellence: Drive teams to excel in challenging, high-stakes environments, motivating them to achieve exceptional results while maintaining focus on quality and safety.</p></li><li><p>Customer-Centric Focus: Anticipate and address customer concerns, ensuring their needs are met while balancing project goals.</p></li><li><p>Entrepreneurial Approach: Recognize and seize new business opportunities, translating them into impactful projects and sustainable relationships.</p></li><li><p>Stakeholder Engagement: Navigate complex organizational structures to engage stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment and shared goals.</p></li><li><p>Leadership &amp; Development: Provide guidance, coaching, and assessments to junior and medior project managers in larger projects, fostering a high-performance culture.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Your profile</b></p><ul><li><p>Extensive Project Management Experience: At least 10 years’ experience leading large-scale, complex technical projects in logistics, automation, or related industries.</p></li><li><p>Strong Technical Background: A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical field, coupled with experience in IT/OT software integration.</p></li><li><p>International Expertise: Proven ability to manage global projects and teams across diverse cultural contexts.</p></li><li><p>Multilingual Proficiency: Fluency in Dutch and English is required; additional languages are advantageous.</p></li><li><p>Client Commitment: Willingness to dedicate yourself to key customers over longer-term engagements and to travel approximately 25% of your time.</p></li><li><p>People development: Intrinsic motivation and proven skills in coaching and developing new and upcoming project managers in your team.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>What we offer</b></p><p>In the challenging and responsible position of Project Manager, you will have the chance to make a significant contribution to industry-leading projects and be connected to our dedicated people and customers.
