As a Human Services Analyst with the Department of Human Services, you will help move critical mental health efforts forward. Examples of duties
This position plays a key role in coordinating major federal grants and supporting statewide training efforts that strengthen behavioral health services. This role will allow you to use your organizational, analytical, business writing, and critical thinking skills. As a Human Services Analyst, you will perform the following duties:
- Grant Review: Examine funding notices and identify requirements for upcoming opportunities
- Document Drafting: Prepare grant materials and related program documents
- Program Monitoring: Track funded projects through virtual or on site reviews
- Training Development: Create and refine training topics and materials for electronic learning
- Data Reporting: Compile fiscal and program information to meet state and federal standards

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to three days per week. You will be required to report to 303 Walnut Street, Harrisburg, PA 17101, as listed in this posting, two days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs; and a bachelor’s degree; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes one year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs.
