40Position Summary
We are seeking an RN Staff Nurse, one with experience with immunosuppressed patients or musculoskeletal conditions is optimal. We provide outpatient care Monday- Friday, 8 AM-5 PM. This role will see patients at two or three of our clinics located in North County, West County, South County and our Center for Advanced Medicine location.The Rheumatology division offers a variety of specialized outpatient clinics across the St. Louis area which are designed to individualize our patient’s support and treatment for conditions such as those arising from arthritis, musculoskeletal, autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. Our supportive and team-focused atmosphere promotes a positive work environment that fosters professional growth and development.
Provides primary and/or specialty nursing and/or medical care in a variety of settings; works under physician oversight as required by state regulation and functions within the RN’s scope of practice.
Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Utilizes the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating a plan of patient care.
- Provides patient care, which may include administering medication, performing procedures and monitoring patient status in accordance with approved nursing practice.
- Provides appropriate counsel and education to patients/families regarding disease process and symptom management.
- Maintains medical records requiring appropriate and timely recording of patient information.
- Consults with members of the health care team, adjusting nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Assists the health care provider with examinations, procedures, prescription refills and other processes related to direct patient care.
- Maintains required skills and competencies and participates in educational programs, staff meetings and in services such as CPR as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Missouri and/or Illinois, depending on location, in accordance with Compact Act.
- Basic Life Support certification (Online BLS certifications, those without a skills assessment component, are not sufficient to meet the BLS requirements).
