Wake Forest Health Network Urgent Care – Wilkes seeks an experienced BC/BE Family Medicine / Emergency Medicine Physician to join their Urgent Care practice in North Wilkesboro, NC. This is a great opportunity for a Family Medicine / Emergency Medicine physician who wants a comprehensive outpatient clinic including all ages treating minor burns or injuries, sprains and strains, coughs, colds and sore throats, allergic reactions (non-life threatening), rash or other skin irritations, broken bones and more. The physician has a dedicated assistant. Must have a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in Urgent Care / Emergency Department / Family Medicine and experience with pediatric patients. This PRN position is 16 hours per week.

HOURS OF OPERATION:
- Hours are Monday - Friday: 8:00 am - 7:30 pm, Saturday - Sunday: 8:00 am - 5:30 pm.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Medical Doctor (M.D.) / Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree
- Board Certified / Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine.
- Successful record of clinical and service excellence, North Carolina medical license or eligible.
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, and/or REGISTRATION:
- Current M.D. or D.O. license from the State of North Carolina.
- Board certification in primary care or related field from said residency.
- Certification in BCLS, ACLS required if stress tests performed or as required by specialty.
- Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of writing required.
