Engineer, Project Assistant

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Define project scope and objectives
- Predict and manage resources to meet project objectives
- Prepare project budgets based on scope and resource requirements
- Track and manage project costs to ensure adherence to budget
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and work plan
- Provide consistent project updates to stakeholders, including strategy adjustment and progress
- Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers to ensure tasks completion and timely deliverables.
- Apply industry best practices, techniques, and standards during project execution
- Monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure timely completion
- Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in science and engineering
- 3-5 years of project management and related experience
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively
- Familiarity with project management tools and software and best practices
- Familiarity with Composite structures is a plus
- Interest in learning the technical aspects of wind turbine blade manufacturing
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to deliver projects within scope, budget and timeline.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels, vendors, clients, and others.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
